Members who require rack/grass storage are required to complete the application below and return it to the BYS office for processing. Rack storage is limited and once all positions have been taken we will not be able to provide storage for other boats. For this reason it is important that members requiring storage make application as soon as possible. You will be advised of your rack allocation when the boat arrives at BYS at which time an identification sticker will be attached to the boat to enable accurate records of boat movements to be kept.
NOTE: Spaces for OTB boats, particularly catamarans are limited. If there are more applicants than we have space, then spaces will need to be allocated based on those members who sailed most actively in the preceding season. Late applicants cannot be guaranteed a spot.

I acknowledge that it is a condition of being able to store boats on the BYS premises that the owner of the boat take appropriate precautions to ensure that the boat is suitably tied down if located on a rack, or tied or weighted down if at ground level. 2. I acknowledge that representatives of the club have the right to return any of the above boats to their correct allocated rack location in the event that they are found to have been left in an incorrect position; and that the club will not be liable in the event that any damage that should occur to the boat whilst it is being moved. 3. I acknowledge that the allocated boat rack only applies for the duration of the sailing season, and will therefore remove the boat over winter. 4. I acknowledge that monohull boats must not be left stored on grassed areas unless they are on a trolley so as to prevent damage to the grass underneath. 5. I acknowledge that boats may not be stored on road trailers in the club grounds.
